I strongly agree to this forum article. Most of the time, we tend to believe what we see at first, without any hesitation and suspicion. However, actually, most of these informations are too personal, biased or superficial, which is not really worthy of being trusted. To know better, you have to explore and probe in to the things in person, not just stay on the surface. You need the fact. To believe too easily will makes you lose a lot, especially on the kind of things that will influence on you for a very long time or to a large degree. For most people, buying a flat can definitely not be counted as trifle. For some families, this will add burden to them for life-long time. If you simply believe in the valuation made by the agencies and make the purchase because of the good price which seems so exciting, you are to face the disaster. The purchase and ownership of the house is something quite complex and trouble some. There are a large a mount of incidental expense that you will have to pay in the future. But unfortunately, people usually don't see it when they are buying the flat. Don't smile too early. The prices in the market can change at time and at any speed for it is affected by so many complex factors. Other peoples' experiences of buying a flat can not happen exactly on you again. So think more and look further.

  1. I agree with you that people tend to believe whatever they see at the first time. The condition is aggravated when the information is come from some professional institution like the property agencies.
However, we must evualate the source of infomation objectively before we take in the information. Though the property agencise are proficient with real estate, they give the valuation still with commercial purpose. Therefore, the buyers cannot entirely believe in them. The statistic is easy to manipulate. Even if they give a biased valuation, no one can say that they mislead the public.
I strongly agree with your suggestion that 'think more and look further'.

  2. From my point of view, although the prices of many items are changing from time to time, most of them are staying in a relatively steady and acceptable level. There are indeed a lot of factors affecting prices. However, I think the value of the goods is still the most important one. Also, since producers need to earn profit from the goods, the final prices are more or less reasonable.
Besides, I agree that people need to think more and look futher. People should be able to judge whether the prices are reasonable with combination of others’ information and their own thoughts. People should consume with the consideration of their own situation.

  3. I strongly agree with you. Firstly, I think it is absolutely true that most of the time, we always believe what we see at first, without any hesitation and suspicion. However, sometimes things are not like what we thought and expected, even are directly opposed. Therefore, we must learn to think twice. We cannot just care about the immediate interests, but pay more attention to long term benefits. Secondly, people should learn from the experience of others and accept the others' opinions. But we cannot only depend on the information which is come from some professional institution like the property agencies. Because the valuation given by them are still with some commercial purpose, which is quite different from our value. Therefore we must rely on our own and think more to look further.

  4. For my point of view, I agree with you. Nowadays, people always spend money without thinking. We also believe what we see at first, but are they really good? Businessmen only want your money, what you see very nice, sometimes may be the outward appearance. In addition, although flats are really attractive, they don't belong to most citizens. They are really the burden for normal citizens. We should not buy one thing use our life-long time, it is not a happy life. We should not be controlled by things.
Also, there will not appear the lowest prices in the world. When the economic recession breaks out, all the things will be cheap. So think carefully and look further when you give out your money.
